Abrie has been operating Pronk Hunting Safaris since 1997 and is well-known as one of the top outfitters in the industry and also specializes in exotic game hunting where his knowledge about exotic species in South Africa surpass those of his peers.
He started hunting with his father from a very young age and knew from the start that there is only one career choice for him, that of a professional hunter. His love for nature and passion for hunting is infectious and will ensure that you find that dream trophy you are looking for.
Abrie is actively involved with the day-to-day operations of the business and oversees all aspects of the hunt to ensure that your Safari is one to remember and a unique experience that will leave you with lasting memories.

Jakes has been part of Pronk Hunting Safaris since 2008 and plays a pivotal role to ensure the success of your hunt, from tracking, skinning to trophy preparation. Your hard earned trophies is in very save and capable hands.
From time to time, Jakes also guide our local clients and can judge a trophy stag or buck like a seasoned professional hunter.
ANDRÉ VAN ZYL
André has hunted exotic species, plains game and dangerous game extensively throughout South Africa and Namibia and has over 20 years experience. His passion for the outdoors and conservation led him to obtain a diploma in Field Guiding and Game Ranging and specializes in the Big 5.
André enjoys meeting hunters from all around the globe and making sure they have the ultimate hunting experience.
