Impala Impala is a medium-sized African antelope. The name impala comes from the Zulu language. They are found in savannas and thick bushveld in Southern Africa. Average mass for an Impala is 75 kilograms. They are reddish-brown in color with lighter flanks, have white underbellies and a characteristic "M" marking on its rear.

Kudu Kudu: The name of the animal was imported into English in the 18th century from isiXhosa iqudu, via Afrikaans koedoe. Kudus are browsers and eat leaves and shoots. In dry seasons, they eat wild watermelons and other fruit for the liquid they provide. Many predators, such as big cats, wild dogs, hyenas, eagles and pythons hunt kudu and their young.

Springbok Springbok (Afrikaans and Dutch: spring = jump; bok = antelope or goat) (Antidorcas marsupialis) is a medium sized brown and white gazelle that stands about 75 cm high. Springbuck males weigh between 33-48 kg and the females between to 30-44 kg. They can reach running speeds of up to 80kph.

Blesbok The Blesbok or Blesbuck is related to the Bontebok and it is purplish antelope with a distinctive white face and forehead. They are a plains species and dislike wooded areas. The blesbuck is indigenous to South Africa.The neck and the top of the back of the blesbuck are brown. Lower down on the flanks and buttocks, the coloring becomes darker. They belly, the inside of the buttocks and the area up to the base of the tail are white.

Wildebeest (Blue) The Wildebeest is an antelope of the genus Connochaetes. It is a hooved mammal. It looks like a mixture of features between a cow and a horse. The name wildebeest finds its origin in the Dutch and Afrikaans words wild and beest, which mean "wild animal" and "beest" in Afrikaans means "cattle" (or "steer").

Hartebeest The Hartebeest is a grassland antelope found in West Africa, East Africa and Southern Africa. The Hartebeest stands almost 1.5 m (5 ft) at the shoulder and weighs anywhere from 120-200 kg (265-440 lb). Male Hartebeest are a dark brown colour while females are yellow brown. Both sexes have horns which can reach lengths up to 70 cm (27 in)

Gemsbok The Gemsbok or Gemsbuck is a large African antelope, of the Oryx genus. Gemsbok live in herds of about 10-40 animals, which consist of a dominant male, a few non-dominant males, and females. They often live in association with zebras, gazelles or other antelopes. Male gemsbok have been known to gore attacking lions with their horns.

Bushpig The Bushpig is a very hairy member of the pig family that lives in forest thickets, riverine vegetation and reedbeds close to water in Africa. They are mainly nocturnal and are seldom seen during the day. Bushpigs range in size from 60 to 85cm (24 – 33 in.) at the shoulder and 46 to 82kg (101-180 lbs) in weight. Bushpigs can be very aggressive..

Warthog The Warthog is a wild member of the pig family that lives in Africa. The common name comes from the four large wart-like tusks found on the head of the warthog, which serve the purpose of defence when males fight. Warthogs range in size from 0.9 to 1.5 metres (2.9-4.9 feet) in length and 50 to 150 kg (110-330 pounds) in weight. A warthog is identifiable by the two pairs of tusks protruding from the mouth.
